Junior Burger

Enough about us. It's currently January 31 and we were expecting a baby 4 days ago. But the weather hasn't been good, so I can see why the baby wants to stay inside. We still don't know if it will be a boy or girl, but you will be one of the first to know via this blog.

Our engagement

You can see the two of us at a restaurant in Switzerland. This was one day before I proposed to her on a mountaintop in Switzerland. Look how happy she looks. She has no idea she is going to marry me.

Who is Danah?

Danah is a little busy right now being pregnant. So let me introduce her. You can see her in this photo, which was taken on the Nortwest coast of France. Beautiful eh? Danah looks pretty good too!

Let me introduce myself. I'm the guy on the left in this photo, which was taken in Normandy, France. I'm sure you all know enough about me, otherwise I wouldn't have sent you the link.

Welcome

Hello everyone,

Danah and I would like to welcome you to Burgertime, a blog meant to keep family and friends in the loop for all the latest on our news. I must admit that the inspiration for this blog is our, as of yet, unborn child. We have friends and family all over the country and world and they will unable to see firsthand the first few moments of life for this "Junior Burger". We plan to post photos and give updates in the first few precious months. In addition, if this works out well enough, we will keep this going for the duration of our posting. As you know, I work for Foreign Affairs so we'll be on the move a bit. I hope that you find this blog a good way to stay in touch.
