Santa Claus

I wasn't exactly sure what to think of this guy. He had a funny and bright suit, he was sweating profusely in the Cuban heat, he had lots of white hair on his face, so he clearly doesn't own a razor, yet somehow he was very popular and every small person wanted to sit on his lap. Maybe someday, I'll figure this guy out.

Ooh la la!

You wouldn't believe how long my hair is getting, but mommy insists on not cutting until my 1st birthday. It's so tough to manage sometimes that I have to cover it up. At least mommy gets me some styling hats. Check out my beret!

Battling the Bidet

Sometimes this hot Cuban weather calls for a cooling off. Since I can't climb into the pool, or into the bathtub, I've found a great solution. Clean water, just my height, controllable speed. What more do I need?

Soren-on-the-Box

Jack never got it right. When you're in the box, you can't see anything and you need help getting out. But I can be on the toy box and still know what's going on around me.

Me, Myself and my Milk

Sometimes, in all of life's hustle & bustle, it's just better to curl up and have some alone time.

Dum, Dum, Dum, DUMMMMM!!!!!

Mozart & Beethoven were composing by the age of 4, but were they playing the piano by the age of 9&1/2 months? No, not a chance. Only me, Soren holds that distinction. I figure I'll be composing in one year, speaking German in 2 years and deaf in 3.

Super Mario

Here's Daddy getting his haircut from his barber, Mario. No matter where you go in the world, you can always find a barber with at least an Italian name. The difference is that Mario will actually come to your house. What do you think of our kitchen?

Who's the tourist?

Even though we live here in Havana, whenever we're in Old Havana, people seem to think we're not locals. I wonder why. Maybe it's because Papa's spanish wasn't that good. From now on, all visitors have to speak Spanish. That way, I can improve my Spanish too.

Solymar

Thanks to Papa for bending down, you can our hotel in the background. It's certainly bright enough. Just like the name says, it offers plenty of sun and sea. Unlike the pools I'm used to, this big pool tasted a little bit salty.

Mojito time

I'll take my refreshing mojito with a straw thanks.
Oh, and can you hold it for me, too.

Beach Baby

Well, here we are in Varadero. The sun is shining, the water is warm, so let's head on out to the beach. Sunscreen - check. Beach robe - check. Shades - check. 2 teeth to eat sand - check. We're ready, Papa!
