Tent time

Just enjoying a little me time in my tent. I arrived in my multi-coloured walker which I parked outside my tent. Good thing the parking is free because I like to spend good quality time in the tent.

Resting up

Sometimes life as a toddler is just plain exhausting. I'm taking a
timeout here from getting into trouble. Look how innocent I look
here.

Blockhead

I don't know this Charlie Brown character and I sure don't want to be like him, but this is my impersonation of that Blockhead. This square hat is actually used to store all those rings you see on the floor. But they all fell out when I put the box on my head.

Mr. Freezie

While I hadn't yet mastered the art of eating a freezie, I sure figured out in a hurry where the name comes from. Ay Carumba! It was freezing! No Grandma, it's not windshield wiper fluid.

Birthday Boys

On this special day when Opa and I were celebrating our first and ***** birthdays together, we decided to share a drink together. While he went with the red wine, I decided to stick with white. Better to be safe.

3 Futbolistas

Check out the 3 generations of soccer players. I've already started to dribble and kick the ball a little bit. With this new toy, I'll be able to take some shots on a real net for the first time.

My Highness

It's about time I got a throne from which to rule my kingdom. With this new comfy chair, I can rule Soren's World.

Is it in Spanish?

Here I am opening one of my birthday gifts at my party. Look how I interested I am in books now. I can't read just yet, but I like listening to others read my books. It can be in Spanish too, because I'm starting to understand this language.

Happy Birthday to me!

Well, some say it flew by, but personally my first year took forever. It took me so long to be able to lift my head up, then roll onto my side, then be able to grip something, then be able to make noises, then be able to crawl, then be able to walk, then say a couple words and finally to run. I just hope that come my 2nd birthday, I can say that I remembered everything that happened all year long.

Uh Oh!

I was just told that Glamma was cooking dinner tonight.

Apres-ski

Okay, so I didn't exactly ski, but I was still enjoying some apres-ski up at the chalet at Mont Ste. Marie. Opa & Grandma took me up there to get used to the idea of skiing. Who knows, maybe next year, Daddy can teach me a few things about skiing.

To the Andes

I was told it was going to be cold in Canada, but noone told me I'd be wearing alpaca wool to keep warm. I might as well have gone to the Andes mountains in Bolivia where this is normal clothing. Sheesh!!

Is that you Daddy?

While it was fun to go back to Canada, I sure missed my Daddy. Everyday at around 5:30 I looked for him to come home from work. The only problem was that the commute from Cuba to Canada just didn't make a lot of sense, I'm told.

Stairway to Heaven

Now that I can climb stairs, there's no stopping me. That is as long as mommy & daddy don't have the baby gate up.

Timeout with Talon

Even though I'm nice and cozy in my winter sweater, cozying up to Talon and his warm fur just seemed like a great idea. One thing for sure is that Talon does not have Mr. Marley's energy. Talon can outwait anybody.

From TO to OT

Daddy's cousin Laura had been studying at university in Toronto but recently decided to move back home and has transferred back to university in Ottawa. Since I'll get to see her in Ottawa when I'm home, I was so happy I had to give her a hug.

Wave to the Camera!

You will see a big difference in the next few photos of me. The difference is in my clothing. Yes, I was forced into winter clothing during my visit back to Canada in January. It wasn't so bad though, as there were cameras and lots of attention everywhere I went. As long as I stayed inside, it was fabulous!
