Anna Banana

One of my favourite fruits are bananas, or nanas as I call them. So it wasn't too hard to learn Anne's name, even though I don't see her as often as I like.

Dr. Evil

I don't know what evil plot my cousin Laura came up with to take over the world, but she got me doing my best Dr. Evil impression from the Austin Powers series.

3 Wheeled Menace

What do you mean Daddy, I have to wait a few months to use it? This is a beautiful red trike and look how good I look on it. I can't wait to show it off.

Swing Low

Grandma and I took it easy on this swing. As you can see, I was a little more interested in the sand, hoping to be able to play in it later.

Super slide me!

Except that I still need him when there's a super sized slide. Thanks Daddy!

Bombs Away!

I used to think sliding down with Daddy was a lot of fun. But who needs him now? I can do this myself!

Haagen Dos Please!

While the ice cream is pretty popular, we don't get this fancy Haagen Daaz stuff. You can see here how popular Grandma's treat was!

Monkey and Dog Show

Having seen the seal show at the Aquarium, upon my return to Havana, I wanted to teach Marley a few things. One thing I learned, is that he responds a little quicker when there's a cracker in my hand.

Starry, Starry Night

It was early June and the mosqueeters were out and it felt a little chilly. At least for a Cubanito like me. Still it was a beautiful night and we could see the stars which you can't always do from Havana.

Papa Pin Dance

It's hard to tell who's got more rhythmn in this shot but Papa could use a little help from a pin. The pin dance requires a pin in hand and his natural rhythmn wasn't able to overcome this.

Bowling for Crackers

I haven't quite got the hang of bowling as I'm told you're supposed to hit the pins with the ball. Instead I just bowled the pins over myself. Nobody seemed to mind, in fact they were laughing and cheering me on.

Evening Walk

We set out for a wagon walk at dusk but as you can see Daddy
was not going fast enough. Soon after I got bored. After all,
Mommy had bought me the exact same wagon in Cuba.

A Knee Slapper

I don't recall what joke I told, but I sure had Papa in hysterics. Look at him slapping his knee.
