How's the food?

This is at Diah's big birthday party. There was all sorts of kids at their house for this party. Lots to do, but this is what I thought of the food.

PC Mac & Cheese

While this product is not regularly sold here in Cuba, fortunately I have parents who plan ahead. What would a childhood be without good, old macaroni & cheese. Tastes great and it's awesome for working on utensil skills.

No More Education

Mommy hopes that this is not a sign of things to come when I get to school. Read a book and then fall asleep. But there wasn't much I could do as it was the storyteller, Daddy, who actually fell asleep.

Six O'Clock

That means it's time to feed Marley. There was a time when I used to help him eat his food or at least, I enjoyed snacking on his food. But now I realize it's more fun just feeding him.

El Soren

I think I need to get myself a motorcycle and head out on the road and create my own diaries. This hat is pretty popular down here because of that guy.

Guerrero

I don't if it's the hat or the chin, but I certainly
look like I could be a member of the July 26th
Movimiento.

Family shot

One of these things looks like both of the others! So now that I'm 18 months old, who do you think I most look like?

Story time

The good thing about going to Colin's house is that we get to read new books. And Colin and Craig get to hear from a new reader - Mommy!

Let's try it again

Once again I didn't want to share the spotlight. Instead, I tried to steal it by doing some pushups.

Baby Laura

Baby Laura is in this shot. I think because she is now getting lots of attention, I didn't even want to look at the camera. What will I do when my baby bro or sis arrives?

Here Fishie, Fishie!

This was not exactly a fish bowl but I was just making sure.

Clean up

The best part of this chalkboard is how easy it is to clean up and start over. There's this amazing brush that wipes everything away.

Bird's Eye View

Someone was checking up on me from above. I didn't see this photo coming as I was too busy writing on the chalkboard.

Artsy Fartsy

What do you think of my masterpiece? I call it "je ne sais quoi".

School's In

I just discovered something new. A chalkboard! I can draw all sorts of things and Mommy and Daddy don't get upset because I'm writing all over the walls or the furniture. If grandparents are reading this, I could use one.

Buddies

My buddy Colin recently got back from Canada where his new little sister Laura arrived via stork. He loves his little sister, but she's still a little young to play with. That's why he loves it when I drop by for a visit. Trust me, he's enjoying himself even if that smile of his looks forced.

The Real Football

Something tells me that this is the football I'll be playing. You may know it as soccer. You may also know that Daddy is a big fan and he's teaching me pretty young.

Blue 52! Set! Hike!

While I still have to grow a little bit, I'm pretty solid and could be an offensive lineman. But I hope to be quick, so I can play a skilled position, like receiver or running back. Not sure if Mommy wants me playing football though.

Bowlhead

Maybe next time that Mario drops by, he can give me a beanie cut. I've already got the bowl on my head to help him along. Look how nice Mommy looks all dressed up. I believe she and Daddy were going to an August 1st Swiss fest.

Boo Boob

Don't worry, nothing happened to me, but I was just trying out some stylish band-aids. In the end, not my style.

Three on a Couch

This was a little bonding time between Mommy, myself and baby bro or sis. Baby doesn't say much yet, but they've got a good kick.

The Den

Here I am just hanging out in the family room. There's always lots of toys around to keep me busy. And if I'm bored, I can always turn on the tube and sit in my favourite green chair.

Bed in a Dining Room

It may be a little unorthodox, but I kind of like having a bed in the dining room. Right after dinner, I can lay down and listen to Mommy or Daddy read me a story. It's only until the new guest room is ready. Speaking of guests, where are they all? People talk more than they walk.

Break time

All that ceramic tile surfing makes one tired and hungry. Time to get a Spidey break in my Spidey chair and eat some plantanos. Then I'll tackle the waves.

Where are the Waves?

Now that I've got my board back, and I've perfected my balance, it's time to hit the waves. I know there in that direction. But how do I get out there?

No More Room

That's it, I'm taking my board. Get your own board Daddy! This one's Soren size.

Double Up!

Plenty of room on this bad boy for Daddy and I. Although he takes up a little too much space. Hey, Daddy! I can only get one foot on here.

Surf's Up

Check out my new board! Got to practise first before hitting the waves. Baby steps, baby!

Paradiso!

This was more like it. A nice shot of mommy and I with Bernie in the lounge of the hotel Paradiso. It certainly was a paradiso!

Look, to the left!

Mommy, you said the left. You didn't say your left. Now Daddy missed the shot.

Sittin' on the dock of the bay...

.........wasting time. Actually, we were just waiting for our dinner reservations. We booked it a little late to catch this beautiful sunset.

Classy Sunset!

I love this shot of me, and my mommy right by the ocean, just as the sun is coming down. Of course, mommy had to show daddy how to fix the lighting on the camera.

Mojito Time!

After a day at the beach and the pool, it's always nice to have a refreshing drink before getting ready for supper. All good drinks take some ice, lemon and you need to give it a good stir. I think I've got it down now.

A pig!

Here I am wondering the halls of Hotel Blau. If you zoom in on me, you can see me holding a pig, one my favorite toys along with a cow!

Check out the View!

You don't need to be as tall as a giraffe to check out the view of the ocean. It was a pretty sweet balcony!

This is no sandbox!

If I'm going to be at the beach, I don't want to be sitting in some chair. I want to be playing in the sand. Can somebody get me down? Lifeguard? Senor?

3 Legged Giraffe

Mommy bought me a new chair at the market. It was a Spider man chair with my name on it. It had 3 legs only. To continue with this theme, I broke one of the giraffe's legs and brought him down to 3 too.

Go Big or Go Blau

This was a shot of Daddy and I outside our hotel. Even though it's named for the colour blue, the only blue was the sky, the ocean and the pool. But with blue sky, any holiday is great. It was our last family outing before heading home to Canada to get ready for my brother or sister's arrival.

Hotel Blau

At this all-inclusive hotel, even the bathtub drain was included.

Peek a Boo!

Just checking out who's around the corner. I'm ready for the pool. Who's in?

Razor's Edge

It was time to clear away that 5:00 shadow. In reality, if I'm lucky, I'll be just like Daddy and I won't have to shave until I'm 25.
