Changes

I have been told for many months that life would be changing and now that moment has arrived! From this photo, you can see how curious I am observing my little brother. But, I am also contemplating all the changes that will be taking place. One of the most important changes and my first great step towards sharing things with my little brother, is the change to this blog. As you know, this blog was principally mine as a way to communicate my life experiences and thoughts in life as I grew up. Well, my grand gesture towards Darius is to share this blog with him. As soon as he is well rested and leaves the hospital, we will begin to work on this blog together. So you will see photos and comments from both of us. This change will not be easy, but I think it will be even better to have 2 different perspectives on life. Let's just hope we can work well together.

First encounter

This is the moment when I got to meet my brother Darius for the first time. As you can see, I was a little nervous. You can see in the background that Mommy is looking very well, despite the ordeal.

My baby brother!

As I have been alluding to on the blog, Mommy and Daddy (especially Mommy) have been working on getting me a little brother or sister. Well, as of Thursday, Sep 13, I now have a little brother. His name is Darius Wolfgang Burger! He arrived into this world very healthy, although he had a little trouble in the final step. The doctor had to operate and perform a C section to ensure that he arrived safely. Mommy is recovering very nicely and we will all soon be united outside of the hospital very soon. I can't wait to get to know him.

F1 Time

It might a little early to get my license but all of the pros started racing at a very young age. Fernando Alonso, look out, there's a Cuban racer on your tail.

Horse Whisperer

Looks like Diah got a pony for her birthday. Probably not the kind she wanted...

Bouncing with Diah

I was privileged to be allowed some private bouncing time with the birthday girl before all of the other punks joined the fracus. I think she was equally privileged.

Bday Lollipop

What's a bday party without

candy? This party had a pinnata and a massive candy scramble. Being one of the smallest there, I didn't get as much candy as the others, but I enjoyed it even more. The lollipop in my hand is a good example.

Join the fun Daddy!

Unfortunately, Daddys are not allowed in this big playroom as they weigh too much. Still, I tried to coax him to come in and join me while noone was looking.

Bouncing Burger

Never mind the clown show. This blow up, bouncy beauty was what I came for. I snuck out while the show was on to get some alone on the big mat.

Showtime

The clown show was so good that even Daddy was captivated by it. And this was despite the fact that the Daddy clowns were not invited this year.

Crazy Clowns

This birthday party had everything, including a
clown show. I enjoyed the show, but these older kids went absolutely crazy over it. I didn't quite get their
reaction.

Oskar the Grouch

While his little brother Daniel was partying it up in his stroller with a party hat, Oskar was showing me around the party, introducing me to everybody. He isn't really a Grouch, but he was a little upset for having to leave Cuba and move to Romania.
