Sugar anyone?

At rockbottom Cuban sugar prices, you can enjoy the classic cotton candy at this amusement park.

Where's your mount?

The knights are riding their steeds, Pancho and Pablo, but Mommy doesn't seem to have a mount. Or is she waiting for her noble knight?

Mama and her knights

Sir Soren and Squire Darius aboard their plastic steeds, spinning round and round the battlefield.

Driving Blind

Not the best habit to develop, I know, but I was just getting a feel for the road. Didn't you know Stevie Wonder had a driver's license.

Shotgun Sally

Actually, her name was probably more like Susana. She had the unlucky assignment of riding shotgun to my driving. Although I have been practising on the Wii.

Height Limit

Marcos, you have to be this tall to get onto the rides. Do you qualify? If not, you can get up on my shoulders.

Coco Buddies

We were on our way to the amusement park at Isla de Cocos. My good buddy Marcos insisted we hold hands to be safe crossing the streets.

Not fair

I wanted to eat the entire cake. What's wrong with that idea? I don't like your idea of having to wait and eat some later.

Tram Cake

Ms. Tram was kind enough to bake me a cake for my birthday. It was special because it was full of marshmallows. It therefore deserved a special, private devouring session for Darius and myself. This is how you inhale a cake.

Sshh!

Don't tell the princess, Charlotte. This is just to thank you for the gift.

Noble Knight

In very chivalrous fashion sir Soren has offered up one of his gifts to his princess Emily.

Prizes

The second best part of the night. Yes, even better than the smoocheroo. Prizes. Wonder what I got?

Towel!

Um, excuse me! Can I get a towel please? I don't know how this happened, but I could use some help.

Piece for the Princess

After the birthday boy gets his piece of cake, who's next? Why Princess Emily of course.

Happiness is...

a piece of your very own birthday cake, surrounded by your friends and family. Nothing better than this.

Where did it go?

Hey Mommy, I never said I was done. What are you talking about plates and forks for? I was doing just fine with my hands.

Calling all tasters

Once the cake passed the test, it was game on. Even Ms. Tram got in on the action.

Taste test

That's right, it's the traditional finger dip in the cake to make sure it's okay. Woh Darius! It's my cake and it's only supposed to be 1 finger.

Spark it up!

How many candles do we see? That's right, uno, dos, tres.

Birthday Beso

Well, my princess came through. Not only by coming to my magical party and bringing a prize, but also giving me the old smoocheroo. Daddy, what do you mean? What does chaperone mean?

Cake time

A pretty cool cake made by Mommy. The theme of the party was machines, so having a blue and yellow dump truck was perfect. I wonder who gets to taste it.

Not to be forgotte

Welcome to the party Darius. We've been waiting for you. We figured when the food showed up, you'd be here.

Top Notch, Charlotte

I think Charlotte approves of the menu. She just gave me the special thumbs up, complete with a touch.

Birthday Party

In true Burger fashion, the birthday parties did not stop at 1. As soon as we got back to Cuba, Mommy & Daddy had a great big birthday party with my friends. At the table is Marky, Charlotte and my princess, Emily.

Papa Jig

Let's just call it that. We weren't sure what
he was doing by dancing around me in this gift bag. But he seemed to enjoy it.

Boys in a box

Well, it was almost time to head back to Cuba. We'd had birthday parties and lots of cake and some fun in the snow so it was time to head back to sunny Cuba. Mommy was working on the big suitcases so it was up to us to pack ourselves. Excuse us if we took it literally.

Great Book of Sport

Are you kidding me? Of course I'm all smiles. Uncle KJ and Stephanie got me this fantastic book with pictures of sports scenes. The perfect gift I would say.

Sir Sorenalot

What a great gift this was! Grandma had been buying me all kinds of cool knights and horses, and now Glamma got me a great, big castle to house them all. Lots of chivalry and medieval fun now.

More Cake

Hey Abby! How about putting some of that cake in your mouth? Oh well, as long as your mouth gets to enjoy some of it.

Conchas y Queso

Aunt Kathy seems to have prepared the classic macaroni shells and cheese for everyone. It's always popular.

Shovelling Crew

Winter is not all a white paradise.
Sometimes you have ot work a little
bit. Like every 3rd day when it snows and you have clean off the driveway and the walkway. It's not easy at any age especially when you can barely walk in your snow gear.

Story time

No, no, no Grandma. The story doesn't go like that. The knight and his horse always slay the dragon and save the princess.

Brownie Break

After all that hockey in the hall, how do you restore your energy? That's an easy one! Grandma, a brownie please.

Hall Hockey

Uncle Dave bought us some new indoor hockey sticks. So, to continue the tradition of Mont Ste. Marie, we had to play some hall hockey using the fireplace gate as a net. The Jiggins uncles had a blast.

Suspicious

With this mug, it sure looks like I'm up to no good. In fact, I'm just playing with some blocks and doing a serious pose for the camera.

Grandma's World

It's a happy Grandma when she's got her grandkids draped all over her. It doesn't happen too often that all three of them are together. With Soren coming home for his birthday, there were lots of these moments.

Darius the Dishman

That's right, I love to help out in the kitchen. While my brother is a fan of cooking, I like to help clean up. And to this day, I've never broken a dish. Glamma can't say that.
